How a US IT req actually runs

The stack and seniority change the timing, but the workflow stays steady. Whether the role is a staff backend engineer in Go or a part-time growth marketer, we follow the same process so nothing slips.

1. Stack-aware intake

We come into the kickoff call ready. If it is a backend engineering role, we know the difference between Postgres and DynamoDB, between a Kubernetes shop and a serverless one. If it is AI, we know dbt versus Airflow, vector DB versus retrieval-augmented orchestration. We will not waste your call asking the basics.

2. Comp calibration in USD by city tier

Every shortlist is calibrated against current US-market base, bonus, equity and total-comp data, segmented by city tier (Tier 1: SF / NYC / Seattle, Tier 2: Austin / Boston / LA / Denver / DC, Tier 3 and remote-anywhere) and seniority. If your band is below market for the stack and city, we will tell you before we start, not after the offer is rejected.

3. Vetted, ranked shortlist

Three to six candidates per req, properly vetted, with our written notes on stack fit, GitHub or portfolio evidence, work-authorization status, current location, and notice period. Right-to-work, references and current comp are confirmed before introduction. We rank, we do not just send.

4. Offer and onboarding support

We coordinate the offer, manage counter-offer pressure, line up the start date, handle background-check and reference logistics, and check in on day 7, 30 and 90. If the placement does not stick within the agreed window, our replacement guarantee kicks in.

Sectors we deliberately do not cover

Acute clinical roles, regulated US financial services compliance leadership above C-suite, and pure on-site facilities / janitorial sit best with sector specialists, so we point those reqs to trusted partner agencies. We will tell you within one call if we are not the right fit.
